CEFR Alignment

Our Certified Internal Assessment Levels (A1 - B2)

We design and administer our own comprehensive German exams, ensuring your readiness is verified at every level from A1 (Beginner) to B2 (Upper Intermediate).

BGS Foundation Exams (A1 & A2)

Rigorous assessments of foundational grammar and vocabulary, ensuring mastery of basic communication needed for daily life (Goethe A1/A2 equivalent).

BGS Intermediate Exam (B1)

Focus on independent language use, including discussing personal interests, writing connected text, and handling travel situations (Goethe/TELC B1 equivalent).

BGS Advanced Readiness Test (B2)

Our highest internal test assesses fluency, complex argumentation, and specialized discussion, necessary for higher education or professional settings (B2 equivalent).

The BGS Advantage

Our Four-Pillar Preparation Strategy

We break down the exam into its core components to ensure mastery of every section.

Lesen (Reading)

Strategy training for skimming, scanning, and deep comprehension of German texts (e.g., newspaper articles, formal correspondence).

Hören (Listening)

Exposure to various German dialects and accents, practicing note-taking skills for lectures, radio, and everyday conversations.

Schreiben (Writing)

Focus on formal essay structure, letter writing (official and private), and generating concise summaries under exam pressure.

Sprechen (Speaking)

Mock interviews and partner exercises to build confidence in presenting topics, discussing arguments, and maintaining fluency.
